Apple makes me mad

Everytime I buy a new Apple product they come out with cooler ones a few months (or weeks later!)

Examples:

I buy the color screen iPod. The video iPod comes out 3 weeks later.
I get the iPod Shuffle for Christmas. 3 weeks later they colored version comes out.
I buy the new smaller Nano and these beautiful devices come out!

I’ve always thought that what you read defines who you are. Then I looked down at my reading materials for my flight from LAX to SFO. (with 2 hour waiting period in the airport due to us being super paranoid and arriving early) I walked through Hudson News picked out the 3 magazines and then analyzed:

InStyle: Because it’s almost fall and I’m in the market for new boots. I need inspiration.
Wired: I’m a full on geek now.
Self: I’ve always loved Self. Self help tips, fitness and diet recommendations. Great magazine.

Not sure how this defines me as a person. Stylish fitness focused geek? Maybe?

My Treo is Dead

I don’t wish bad things on anything. Except my Treo. My Palm Treo 700P has died. This is my 5th Treo in 2 years. I’ve had them replaced due to bad charging connections 3 times, one time I lost it (OK my fault but still) and now tonight it has died unexpectedly. I was synching my phone with my email and BAM! phone dies. No water damage. No dropping of the phone. Just DIES.

Now I have to get up early. Head to Verizon and GET A NEW TREO. Why you ask? Why would I get another AWFUL phone? Because Verizon has me locked into a contract until October. Mood is fuming now.

UPDATE: Phone is now working. Still mad. Cannot wait until October 16th for the Treo destruction party:)
